Ear ache, known as Waj-ul-Uzn in traditional medicine, is a common condition that can affect individuals of all ages. It is typically characterized by a sharp, dull, or throbbing pain in one or both ears. This discomfort can arise due to various internal or external factors. Among the most common causes are excessive exposure to heat or cold, which can disturb the natural balance of bodily humors. Additionally, the formation of pimples, boils, or abscesses within the ear canal or surrounding tissues can lead to significant pain and inflammation. Other contributing factors may include infections, injuries, foreign objects lodged in the ear, or accumulation of earwax. If left untreated, ear aches can lead to complications affecting hearing and overall well-being. Early diagnosis and appropriate care are essential to prevent further discomfort and restore ear health.
